ARBEGUI has completed the Altius Huelva FORCE (HU4) project, which involved the transport of 6 heavy-duty cold box and exchanger units with maximum unit dimensions of 31 metres long, 6.15 metres wide, 6 metres high and 184 tonnes in weight, from Ras Al Khaimah (UAE) to the port of Huelva (Spain). One of the project's highlights was the delivery of the lead unit, a transport convoy measuring 91.54 m long, 6.15 m wide, 7 m high, and weighing 350 tons—the heaviest load ever transported across the Rio Tinto Bridge.
The operation required exceptional coordination with port authorities, police escort, engineering teams, and specialized transport configurations (including SPMT). Key infrastructure adaptations were made to ensure safe transit, both on public roads and within the client's facilities.
A challenging and rewarding project that once again demonstrates Arbegui's ability to deliver complex logistics with precision and care.
