These two cable reels were located on a dock in Algeciras Bay. To move them to the ship's loading position, we used one of our 600-tonne self-propelled hydraulic gantries.
For transport, due to the 10-meter width of the piece, two 6-axle Self-Propelled Trailers (SPMT) were required in parallel.
The complicated aspect of this project was the race against the ship to unload these pieces at the Port of Castellón; a great advantage of not stopping at night.
Once at the Port of Castellón, the coils were collected under the ship's hook and unloaded at the location indicated by our client.
